Description: This sketch has been made during the astronomical twilight thru thin upper clouds. Familiar shapes were out of sight but there were still hundreds of individual stars visible and the globular was completely granular.

Description: A very impressive globular cluster in Canes Venatici. Hundreds of stars resolved easily at 309x, the cluster is somewhat elongated in N-S direction and all through granular. Darker areas in N, SE and E.

Description: M3 on melko suuri joukko (koko 16'), jonka ydin ja sen välitön ympäristö näkyi glowna, mutta laidoilta erottui tusinoittain yksittäisiä tähtiä. Joukon laitamilla näkyi viitisen huomattavasti muista erottuvia kirkkaita tähtiä. Joukon kirkkaimmat tähdet ovat kai jotain 11mag luokkaa.
