Description: Full darkness has gone till next autumn, but NGC 4490 was still a superb galaxy with a 7 mm Nagler. Spiral arms are very open, the northern arm is much longer than southern one. SN2008ax shone as a 14 mag star alongside the southern arm. There is also a faint star in the southern tip.
