Description: NGC 4526:sta on muodostunut jonkiinlainen suosikki minulle. Se on helpossa paikassa kahden 7mag tähden välissä ja se on melko kirkaskin, 9,7mag. Putkessa galaksilla näkyy kirkas ydin ja vähän sitä ympäröiviä osia. Se näyttää spiraaligalaksilta, mutta en ollut uskoa silmiäni kun huomasin taulukosta sen luokitteluksi E7 eli mahdollisimman ellipsinen ja vielä melko harvinainen galaksi tyyppi.
